U.S. States "for" gay marriage, abortion funding
Along with the presidential and parliamentary elections in the U.S., made yesterday, American voters were able to vote in referendums on local issues, state news agency.
After 172's referendum victory in 27 states noted proponents of same-sex marriages, the consumption of marijuana for pleasure and public resources on abortion, state news agency.
USA Colorado and Washington were the first country to legalize the use of marijuana for medical purposes. Fifty-four percent and fifty-five percent of voters in both states supported the idea. This means that users over 21 will be able to buy marijuana from licensed shops Legislature to pay taxes. Expected revenues from these taxes amount to millions of dollars, says DPA.

The voters of California voted to temporarily raise taxes to solve the problem with the U.S. budget deficit. So far, both the referendum are counted only 20 percent of the ballots.
In Florida, 55 percent of voters came out against ban on public funding for abortion. Conservative proposal for such a ban state funding allowed only in cases of rape, incest or danger to the mother's life.
